Products
AmeriTrak Fleet Solutions, LLC (AmeriTrak) provides a cost-effective Automatic Vehicle Location
(AVL) solution that enables fleet operators of all types to easily monitor and track all vehicles in their
fleet. AmeriTrak provides customers with both a secure real time map-based display and secure
web-based reports and fleet management tools.
AmeriTrak’s RealTime ® map is implemented as a stand- alone application using Java thin client
Technology. After installing the map disk on their PC or laptop, customers will have an AmeriTrak
icon on their desktop. Launching the AmeriTrak map from the icon will allow users to view all
vehicles equipped with an in-vehicle AT360 or other compatible GPS tracking devices.
AmeriTrak utilizes a sophisticated centralized monitoring system so that customers are not
required to make any additional investment in back room equipment. The location and other related
information for each vehicle is maintained within a highly secure, professional Data Center,
providing secure accounts that are unique for each customer or agency. Customer personnel may
access the AVL information from any standard Internet browser utilizing appropriate security
protocols. Vehicle data is automatically updated every 1 to 60 minutes (depending on service
contract – sub minute updates are also available ) along with the time, speed, direction of travel,
GPS quality, and other useful information from each vehicle. The AmeriTrak AVL service provides
customers with a turnkey, all-inclusive package -- including network charges -- in one simple
monthly fee.
